Break out the champagne
Sorry for the radio silence. I’ve been busy with the usual, and then the stuff I’m hoping will become my new usual, like book edits.
But I have to get better at blogging, and quick quick. And here’s why:
What that means is that I will be blogging on a schedule every week over at that site. Don’t worry. I’ll cross-post here, too.
I’m not just excited about having some first-book friends, or about having a great place to let people know about my book. I’m actually looking forward to the SCHEDULE. I go a little loosey-goosey without one, we all know that. So I’m hopeful that the schedule there will help fill out my schedule here, and also my overall writing schedule.
Because I need to write another book. That’s it. That’s all there is. Yes, I need to market the one coming out (July 8, 2014!!), but the only job I have beyond that (and beyond, you know, my job job) is to keep writing. I’m doing it, but it’s about to get even more difficult to get my word count done. You thought writing a book was tough? Or writing a book while working full-time? How about all of the above, and trying to figure out how to get your book into readers’ hands?
But I can’t imagine wanting to anything else.
Debutante Ball posting starts September 1. See you over there!
