Not every song on the Wreck Your Heart playlist is country music. Country proper, anyway, now that we’ve established that country isn’t just one thing. This song is from Noah Kahan [“Kahn”], a singer who is probably pretty hard to categorize on the pop/alternative/rock side of things. Singer songwriter? Who KNOWS? Give him a shot. He’s just a good singer. If you have teen daughters, they probably already know all about him. You can’t get near one of his shows, so I purchase the live stream on his show in Boston, and it was a delight to kick back with a G&T in my own living room and watch a concert. Modern living!

This song starts out very quiet, but don’t crank it WAY up, because you have your eardrums blown out about halfway through. Maybe worth it.
